Brilliant Scottish indie folk star Tom Walker is coming to Shanghai on March 25 and you can grab your tickets on thMart right now. Having risen to fame with the release of his song ‘Leave a Light On,’ which peaked at No. 7 on the UK Singles Chart, Walker has released his first studio album, What a Time to Be Alive and appeared on tracks with the likes of Rudimental and Zara Larsson.
The big-lunged singer takes inspiration from such artists as Muddy Waters, Ray Charles, as well as fellow Scotsman Paolo Nutini, he even sings with the hint of a Scottish brogue, in the same fashion as Nutini. He’s played on tours with George Ezra, Jake Bugg and more, and picked up the award for Best Breakthrough Act at the 2019 Brit Awards last year, following in the footsteps of the likes of Oasis, Belle and Sebastien and Bastille.
